WHAT IS BAPTIST VISION DOING?

Support of Aids Victims In South Africa

At the end of July Baptist Vision sent a container to "Positive Ray" to help with winter relief for aids victims.

Prov 19:17 He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the LORD; and that which he hath given will he pay him again.

Baptist Vision Prayer Meeting Each Sunday Afternoon.

A prayer meeting will be held in the Fellowship Hall at 5.30pm each Sunday Night to pray for the work of Baptist Vision.

We cannot expect God to bless this ministry of Nepean Baptist Church except we seek His face and know his mind for His work.

Pastor Jun Quetula Went To Ethiopia.

Pastor Jun also was included in the group to Ethiopia in September with a team from Baptist Vision.

The team was involved in:
Gospel preaching,
Family Life Teaching,
Computer and software training,
English Language training,
the issuing of medication to Sudanese who are sick and the showing of Christian films amongst other ministries.

They were sponsored by Missionary Alconer who did all the planning for them in Ethiopia.

Pastor Jun was the main speaker.

Amongst others who went was Babes and Keegan M and Ruth J.

Message from Geoff at Nepean...Keep coming back as I plan to have a Slide show of some of the photos from the Ethiopian Trip as they are available. I understand a LOT of photos were taken; but we will just take a sample of them for the Slide Show as I am able to get them together.

BAPTIST VISION Sponsorship of PNG Pastor's Children

We have now received photographs and details of the children in PNG who desperately need sponsorship to assist in their education - please see the display board at the rear of the church. Because the Pastors have little money they just cannot afford, in many cases, to send all their children to school.

Out of our abundance we can help.

Have you prayerfully considered yet if you could sponsor one of these children?

The cost to have each child in school is only $50 per month which will enable each child to grow for the Lord in that land.

Please consider this as a responsibility you are prepared to take on, but be aware that the commitment will be ongoing and you will have the responsibility for the education of that child in the future.
